Since we offer on-site repairs, pick up, and delivery we operate by Appointment Only.
Vermont Small Engines' goal is to provide excellent client service, amazing repair, and focused maintenance.
Goal - Philosophy - Rates
Our Philosophy
We operated on an hourly rate, if we feel the cost of the repair may exceed the value of the machine, we check it all over, make a list of needed repairs and associated costs, and give you a rough total of what it would cost to fix the machine before we fix anything.
We aim to keep the customer's best interests in mind and will be honest if their machine may not be worth fixing. If they still want to fix it, we certainly happy to do so and know that we tried our best to save you money.
Rate Calculation
If you would like to drop off your equipment at our shop on 1 South Summit Street, Essex Jct, VT we will charge you an Hourly Rate of $65 per hour. We do not prorate our rate, if something is 1 1/2 hour to fix the rate is $65.
We do offer a Mobile Service, where we come out and fix the item at your home or business. This rate is higher, for Essex and Essex Junction the Rate is $200 per hour. For the rest of Chittenden county, our rate is $200 per hour.
We charge the client our cost of parts plus tax.
We do offer a discount for seniors, vets, active military, and emergency response call and ask Chris at 802-318-5813 for more details.
